I have lived in the San Francisco East Bay for over 44 years. My husband, David Nearon, and I raised our four children in Alamo. I grew up with a passion to paint, and I had my first exposure to art while taking art classes from Professor Dibble at the University of Utah. In addition to my art education at the University of Utah and University of California at Berkeley, I was privileged to take oil painting workshops from Kathryn Stats, John Budicin, Tom Nicholsen, Ted Gershner, Margaret Kessler, Van Waldron, Jian Wu and other artists.
Recently I was juried into NOAPS 2016 Signature and Masters Artist show Held in the prestigious gallery Elise Gallery, Cincinnati, Ohio. Published in Southwest Artist Magazine 2016
My work was also featured in NOAPS’ Exceptional Artists Series—showcasing four of my painting in “The Transience of Light”, an article, written by Hebe Brooks.
In August 2014, I was honored with a signature membership by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society. My paintings have been juried into the following shows:

In 2011, three of my paintings were selected by Kennedy Publications for “Best of World Wide Landscape Artists.” Presently, Best of American Artists by Kennedy Publications has selected many of my paintings to be an part of their Gold Collectors Edition
In 2010, my painting, Small Town Afternoon, was juried in Best of America Exhibit, 2010, the Twentieth Annual Fine Art Competition and Exhibition hosted by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society.
In 2009, I was selected by Kennedy Publishing Co. as a featured artist in their book, “Best of America Oil Artist Vol 11″. Three of my my paintings were selected for publication in this book.
In 2008, my painting, Morning Song, won Merit Award—Landscape in the Greenhouse Salon International. My painting was also selected by Salon International, for the Top Fifty Award. Morning Song is published by American Art Collector magazine and Southwest Art Magazine.
