A Signature Member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Association, Linda Nearon first fell in love with the delicate interplay of light and nature during summers in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The soft glow of morning light over trees, mountains, and lakes continues to influence her work today. After relocating to California, she broadened her artistic scope to include cityscapes, seascapes, and florals\u2014blending representational and impressionistic styles with illuminated areas as the focal point of her work.<\/p>\n
Her 2008 painting Morning Song received the Merit Award\u2014Landscape in the Greenhouse Salon International and was selected for the Top Fifty Award by Salon International. The piece has also been featured in American Art Collector and Southwest Art magazines.<\/p>\n
